thredUP: A New Way to Shop for Kids Clothes

Are you tired of battling for bargains at the consignment sales or being outbid on eBay?  But, you don't want to have to pay a fortune buying all new clothes for your kids each year.  I might have an alternative for you!  Check out thredUP a new company changing the way we shop for clothes.  Basically, you pick out boxes of gently-used clothes online which meet your needs (gender, size, season), pay for shipping and it is mailed directly to you.  In return, you prepare your own boxes when your kids outgrow their clothes.

The best part of why I support this concept is buying gently-used clothes for your kids not only helps your budget it also helps the environment!

I love the idea of this but hate that you can't see the clothes. Your idea of gently used and someone else idea of gently used could be two totally different things. I'm one of those people that needs to inspect everything! LOL

I used to swap clothes on diaper swappers until i kept getting crappy clothes in return. I would send out pretty much brand new clothing and get stuff that looked like it had been worn by three children. They should add pictures so you have a better idea of what you're getting.

I think it would be awesome for people who like surprises thought! Unfortunately I'm just not one of them! LOL
